About Me
An Introduction

Hi! I'm Eunice. I'm currently doing a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Communications. Before that, I graduated with a Diploma in Mass Communication at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

I come from a Christian family. There are five people in my family. My Dad and Mum, a sister and a brother. My parents are into numbers, my siblings are into science.

So, I'm the odd one in the family. I love the arts.

I also love chocolates (which is where the name of my blog stems from, but I have since downed my chocolate intake to once or twice a week). Plain chocolates. No white, nutty, toffee or honeycomb chocolates (Don't you just hate it when goo gets stuck in your teeth?). KitKats and Kinder Beunos are yummy, just as chocolate mint ice-cream, salmon and maguro sashimi and egg tarts are delicious. Tiramisu and Mango strudels are my favourite dessert.

I love the colours purple, red and orange. But purple will always remain my favourite.

More About Myself

I am very passionate about my friends and family, beautiful art&design, writing, reading, keeping active and most of all, TRAVELLING and meeting new friends from different cultures.

It's my aim to travel around the globe as I work, earning my keep and discovering different walks of life at the same time.
I've been to parts of Australia, the States, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan.

Living life to travel, I opted to do an overseas internship in 2007 at one of the Big 4 of advertising agencies in the world, Saatchi & Saatchi (Taiwan). It gave me great insight as to how people worked and live in Taiwan. I missed it so much when my two months was up.

Not long ago (in 2008), on the very evening of my last exam paper for my Diploma, I went on a trip to Hokkaido, Japan. I loved every single minute that I was there, enjoying the snow and culture, and of course, it's great that I could share this time with my lovely cousins and favourite uncle!

So, that's two more countries down, and many many more to go!

I love going out. Hanging out with friends, eating at good restaurants, finding for a new cafe to hang out and just chill at.

At the same time, I like being alone, walking by myself along a quiet and peaceful street just to think and reflect about life. I love reading thrillers, romance, autobiographies and stereogram books. There's nothing better than to lie on my bed, a cup of something warm at the night table, lights dim and reading a thriller or sweet romance.

It's funny how I love reading other people's blogs (mostly Mom-blogs and Adoption blogs), but i HATE reading books written in the first person (except for Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series). Through reading various blogs, I am sometimes amazed and touched by what people are going through, and thier ability to express thier faith in the Lord and trust the hand of God in thier lives. I sometimes wish I could do the same, as more often than not, I forget that He has a role in my life.

I like learning new languages. I speak English and Chinese, bits and pieces of Cantonese, Japanese and Korean. I took up basic Spanish and Japanese as electives while doing my diploma and am continuing to just read up on my own.

I reckon 24 hours a day isn't enough, but, it'll have to do.
